The largest country St. Paul's Cathedral in east Africa, Tanzania offers something for every outdoor and nature enthusiast. Tanzania is a land of superlatives. In the south lies the Selous Game Reserve, an area of diverse wildlife that is larger in size than the country of Switzerland. Here guests can enjoy walking safaris and boat safaris along the lovely Rufiji River. In the west St. Paul´s Cathedral lies the smallest of Tanzania's national Parks - Gombe Streams. This small park packs a big punch as it is home to an impressive number of primates, including the following: chimpanzees, olive baboons and vervet monkeys.

Tanzania is an excellent safari destination for first-time safari-goers or safari veterans. It is politically stable and has a good infrastructure of safari lodging options that, while perhaps being slightly lower in standards than those of the southern African countries, are also slightly lower in price.
